Fun times!
Hey guys! Just wanted to say hello and update about my past week! I recently went to a surprise visit to New York!! SURPRISE!! And Happy Birthday Rachel!! And thank you Tiffany for sending me. I had the most amazing time and Gos is SO good to bless relationships and new friendships. Amen, thank you Jesus and for the work and words you do and speak.
And now I am currently sitting in the computer room listening to some beautiful worship... "Oceans will part... nations will come..." and typing to the background sounds of Curtis and Ase packing their bags from their time here in Cali. We had a great day yesterday drinking coffee, swimming in the ocean, hiking, eating ginormous burritos and baking cookies and watching the Olympics on the tele. hehe... Yes, it was a neat experience watching Michael Phelps take the gold as his hands gripped the wall in the last moment like a phantom. He barely took it!
I love my friends, miss the ones in New York and all over the states and the world. But I thank Jesus and praise Him for His good works and His LOVE. And the beauty in the fact that His Holy Spirit keeps us in unity. Today I anticipate tea/coffee with Lizzy and Curtis and Ase together before we take Curtis to the train station at Surf Beach. Then Ase and I will continue our Lompoc day. I'm not sure what all that will entail yet, but we'll have fun! :D
God bless you, friend. I love you.

Love

Today I have been reminded that "love is the movement." There are the hurting and sick... we may find ourselves in a time of pain and sickness, and sometimes in the midst of that... we are reminded that we're not alone. We are human, made dirty and stained by our mistakes. Sometimes others have hurt us. I find myself in a time of facing pain and mistakes. As I receive insight, wisdom, and strength from the Lord in dealing with it, I am reminded that I am not alone-forsaken not by Him. And I am not the only once facing darkness.
This world is full of brokenness and pained people. And in the midst, there is a hope that is offered by our Light and Grace of a Savior. He reaches out to our tear-stained faces and seeks to point out the wounds, only to bring us through further healing and wholeness. Right? And in the midst of brokeness, I'be veen reminded today that we, in our imperfect states (which will be made perfect only in His presence on that day He's called out for us on the other side of heaven) we are called to reach out and love one another. His love and life in us are part of His movement to bring souls to Him. We are a part of His remedy to one another. We can help each other and strengthen one another.

Hey guys! New to this blogging thing but really interested in updating frequently and sharing my thoughts and such! Interested in this form of keeping my friends updated and having fun on this thing! You guys def make it look fun, so here I am joining this little blogger thing! Thanks friends for your wonderful updates! Talk soon! Yay!
P.S. (longest ps ever...) These are some pictures from Rachel's visit from New York to California, and our roadtrip together through Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, to Colorado! It was an amazing time and we loved every minute! We were blessed to see such spectacular views of God's creation! May was an amazing time to travel through these places for weather and blooms! :)
Oh yeah, a little bit of background info: Rachel is a close friend of mine I met on my Discipleship Training School in New Zealand in 2007, and we made a strong bond and connection! Praise Jesus Kate got married so we could make this trip together! Kate is another of my close friends I made through DTS Marine Reach! We also share a very special, strong bond and I appreciate every moment I've gotten to share with these lovely ladies! Anyway, there's some insight into my life! I have more pictures I want to add from this summer and my time with my friends, but it won't let me add anymore pictures! hehe... next one!
