Fall and Family

This is my most recent venture home!! It was exactly a week ago that I found myself in my new hometown of Santa Maria, California. I went home for a Halloween wine club party for the winery I used to work at last summer, named Wild Heart Winery. It was fun. Amy and I both worked there together, so we went home together! She was a beautiful pink fairy and I was a hippie. I wore my Mom's burkenstocks, my tye died skirt from Fiji, and a flowy shirt. I drew a flower on my cheeck that my Mom colored in with her eye shadow, wore a headband and glitter.
The next day I woke up early only to miss church call- Mom leaves on a strict sched with my Aunt! tehe... oops. I so I went to none other than a Starbucks and drank a tea and journaled. I met my sister Ahslynd at her church which is a family friend's. It was nice to see them and worship together.
After that I took Ashlynd and my other sister Emily and our cousin Katelyn to the Avila Farm to get our pumpkins, take a hay ride, sample some homemade jam (mmm...), fresh corn on the cob with butter and seasonings, and then to the beach for a quick pit stop. I had thoroughly missed the beach and realized just how much as I got to frollick for on the shore for a few minutes! Oh how I enjoyed myself and we had a great time. It doesn't hurt that I def can cut lose and be just as silly as 13-16 year olds... lol It was so nice to see my family.
Halloween was not my favorite. But God got me through! And Lizzy as well! Both Lizzy and I had car trouble. That afternoon, Lizzy was about to leave to go home for the weekend and then her car randomly turned off while she was driving. She made it to a gas station where I was and discovered her car wouldn't turn back on. A minute later it did, but when she turned her lights on it turned off again. A couple hours later, a stop at Auto Zone, a battery-and-other-things check, many phone calls, a family-trusted mechanic number was taken, and her car driven back home as I followed! She was still able to go home with our friend Mindy.
After work that night, I tried to leave but my car wouldn't let me put my key in the ignition, so I had a tow truck come, and the man hammered my key in. lol so... that's going to have to be fixed. My co-workers were so kind to stay with me and even try to help figure out the problem. The tow truck man said it will need to be replaced because this eventually happens to Fords! Geez laweez. I was so happy to finally get home! haha...
Well I have nothing more planned this week than homework and starting a new job! I'm going to be a server at a little Mexican food restuarant! Very stressed at the moment, but I know everything will be ok! Talk soon!! Please pray for me :)
Love you guys!
