So school is going to start this Wednesday for my last semester here at Fresno State if all goes as planned! :D I'm excited and anticipating this coming Spring excitement!! woo woo!
This Winter Break has been very very amazing. God is good and has been speaking to me as He has been refocusing me in a couple of areas in particular. It is so crazy and good and amazing how FAITHFUL He is as my Father. So good. He truly knows best. I need prayer for faithfulness to follow Him as well-- to do what he focuses me back to. True principle and heart. He is good!
Hebrews keeps resounding in my spirit. Since 2007. I think God is trying to remind me of discipline, obedience, and the fathership He gives in disciplining his legitimate sons and daughters. And "resisting sin to the point of shedding blood." Also that Christ is my redeemer, reconciler, clean blood, and one and only priest who sympathizes with my temptations and weaknesses. He is my way out. There is so much to be said in Hebrews. And God really has been trying to teach me and take me through principles taught in that book, as I realize now in looking back over these past couple of years. Neat!
Well I love you guys. This Christmas was great and it was so nice to see you Dia and Noah and Mike! Noah has gotten so much cuter and full of life, and I celebrating your return home. I missed you dearly. Excited to see you guys more often!
I have enjoyed our package sending Kate, emails, and letters. I count myself so blessed.
Here comes Spring... sooner than later anyway. haha I know, it is like, dead of Winter right now, but I have enjoyed my glimpse of Spring to come, a beautiful little preview this past week here in Fresno. Sunshiney! Weather.com says it will be cooling down here in the next week, a bit rain as well. Lizzy will LOVE it when she returns!! :) It will be her birthday this coming Tuesday!!
Amy says she will make a red velvet cake (Lizzy's fav and request) and we will have dinner and maybe some bubbly! Happy days! :) I want to get her something French for her birthday, pretty much because she loves it and plans on going to Paris after college on her desired travels soon. And she wants to become fluent in the language which she has studied for her foreign language.
I may be going to Mexico in April on a mission trip with the young adult/college group here in Fresno. My church has become University Vinyard. I love the people dearly, they are beautiful and the Lord has been gracious. We are getting to know each other more! We go to Tuesday night "Kinship" at a family's house. On Sunday's Amy and Lizzy and I go to the night service for young adults. It's great! Love the worship.
Cheers to this new year, 2009, and cheers to new things!! LOVE!
